Intro to Business and Business Communications

This week we will begin and sports franchise simulation in Business Communications. We will also begin a retail business simulation in Intro to Business. These simulations will force the students to think critically and get an idea of some of the decisions that must be made to run a business.  This will also allow them to strengthen  their reading and math skills while applying them to real life business situations.

Intro to Business/Business Communications

This week we will research and create our business descriptions. We will have clear ideas and detailed examples of the look, feel and sound of our businesses. We will also get our GMetrix software up and running and begin preparation for our testing at the end of the semester. We look forward to another wonderful week here at the Brook.

Introduction to Business

The students will complete All About Me projects and presentations. The students will give feedback and suggestions on business ideas each student she research throughout the semester.  The students will begin this week with a detailed business description.

Business Communications

This week in Business Communications the  students will give their first presentation. They will present the solution to a business problem using PowerPoint.  They will also begin to discuss Nonverbal and verbal communication and role play different examples.  The students will discuss the climate and opportunities in business today and  choose a direction for the semester.

Business Communications

Welcome to Business Communications.  This course will be a high level dive into business concepts that we touched on in the level one course.  This course will be heavy on creation of presentations and evaluation of information and data.  Presentation is a large part of the course assessments.  We will have to create presentations to both inform and persuade our business colleagues.

Introduction to Business and Technology

This week we will begin by getting familiar with each other and class expectations. We will introduce the essential functions of business and explore what it takes to start a business in this course.  We will discuss everything involved with planning your business.
